Hi. I am just sitting here reading about all the vaccinations you need to take, but is the prices for them included in the medical exam?

Otherwise it's gonna be an expensive story, lol.

And also, are there different requirements for vaccinations considering what country you come from/live in?

You are correct, the doctor will decide which vaccinations are needed and the cost of the medical will vary depending on your country and vaccinations given (at least this was our experience). My fiance and I logged into the consulate site and followed a link there to a list of possible vaccinations and their cost. Best of luck!

Ok, but some you have to take many doses and it has to be certain time in between, like hepatitus a+b!! So maybe it's best at least to take some before the medical? Many are even required to take when you're younger, so i already have 3 of them . Congrats on your approval by the way!!

K1 visas, at least in my country, doesn't need the vaccines in the medical... you can have it done in the health department and in your aos phase go with a civil surgeon approved by uscis to transcript them.

All vaccinations were included in the cost of the medical exam in the Philippines. However I understand that can vary by country. Check with the medical facility where you will be getting your exam....they should be able to tell you. By the way, the entire process is very costly but well worth it in the end.

I know what you mean, I had wondered about this myself but apparently he was able to get enough the day of his appointment to be approved. I'm not a medical professional so I don't know the 'why' and 'how' of it all but there are differences between childhood and adult vaccinations (dosages perhaps?). The list that we looked at showed all of the vaccinations but not everyone will need everything. My fiance had considered going to his doctor prior to his appointment and getting everything but in the end was glad he didn't because at his appointment he only got ended up with a couple of shots.
