Congratulation. We were approved 08/28/13, noa2 received 08/30/13. I got an email reply after 2 weeks from nvc that they still don't have our doc. This is a good news for us. I hope we get ours soon!

wow...we have the same date of approved petition...

still we dont have our case number...how bout yours?

we called nvc last sept27 and it says keep calling coz its coming up soon...

i emailed nvc today but no response yet and we will call nvc tmrw..and we will see.

i'm trrying to call nvc now but it isn't avai;aba;e this time! got my noa2 on aug. 28...hoping nvc has already received my petition just like yours.

wow..we also have the same NOA2 approval date...

i hope we will get ours soon too..

Ours was Aug 22 too! I called earlier today and was greeted by a worker who clearly hated his job.... and got the "8 week" line.

Hopefully we will get good news before next week! :)

CONGRATS!!!

Nice to see movement in the system for some people in here. Our NOA2 was approved Aug-30 and we've still heard nothing. My babe called them and got the 'dunno, can't find you in the system' line from some lazy frontline operator last week.

The immigration lawyer we've been using hasn't been the best communicator so I don't know what is going on. I guess it should start to move soon based on what others are saying, hopefully this pesky shutdown won't affect things too much. Damn politicians...they live in their own little world and don't care about the little people!

In a way the delays you encountered may not be that bad. A lot of us that did get through USCIS and onto NVC had a whole world of hurt when NVC changed policies and fell really far behind between July and September. In fact, very few interviews went out for October.

Hopefully that is all worked out for you recent NOA2 recipients! If you DO decide to call NVC, get used to the stock "contact us again in 30-business days" reply as most of the phone staff is completely useless. Also, don't fall for the "supervisor will call you back before xx:xx" speech because they never do.
