Haboush, it took about 10 days for our interview letter to come. Has there been a lot of snow and ice where you are? Perhaps there have been delays in mail delivery because of weather problems.

I'm sorry, Haboush, I'm not quite sure what you're asking? We received an update from USCIS on Jan. 28 that said our interview had been scheduled, and then received a letter about 10 days later with the interview date.

hello guys ,, i have a question please

i applied for n400 at the beginning of October i got my finger prints done everything was good until i had and update on my status on 31 of January that my interview has been scheduled until today feb 20 haven't received my interview letter is that normal ???

This is how my online status looked like. I called them after 3 days, and the officer told me that they mailed me my letter on the 11th of February, so that means they mailed me my letter on the day they scheduled me for interview. It took about 10 days for my interview letter to arrive. Please call them again, just in case your mail got misplaced somewhere.

Well, I called this number 1-800-375-5283, and I didn't even ask them to transfer me, the person who answered my call just asked for my name and receipt number and told me my letter was mailed. I called twice, and both officer told me the same thing. LOL.. I was just trying to see if they will give me my interview date. lolol They are very friendly, btw.

But, most people here that received an update and been scheduled for interview got their letter in about 10 days. Hopefully you find a nice officer next time. Mine was scheduled for March 18th. Hope you get your appointment soon! Is there any bad weather that could probably delayed USPS to send out mail in your area?

So my case status still says: On December 2, 2013, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling...blah blah blah... If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance... So 90 days would be up By Sunday March 2nd...however, if the letter isn't even in the "been mailed" bit...doesn't look like that will happen! Phone call to the ever helpful customer service center on Monday 3rd....

As it has been over 90 days since my "N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling" I called the USCIS customer services hotline...they were about as useful as a chocolate tea pot.

The woman was short, rude and very unhelpful...she stared off by reading my case status...errrrmmm I know that - I'm looking at the same flipping thing as you! She then told me that although it says to call after 90 days if you haven't received the interview notice she doesn't have any updates and i "just have to wait".

She also told me that NYC field office is currently only processing applications from July 2013???? And based on that I could be waiting up to another 3 months for my interview letter....really??? Is anyone else applying in NYC and experiencing delays? It's rally irritating that you're told something will be received in 90 days....only for some other bint to turn round and say...ignore that date...you're going to be waiting another 3!!
