Quick update:

I got my approval letter from USCIS in the mail! Does anyone know what is the waiting time now from NVC? Also they mentioned in the letter that I can also file form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, to request that they notify another consulate of the petition approval for visa processing purposes. What is that form, is that mandatory?

Thank you and good luck to everyone!

Hi, we also got our approval letter and we were also asked to file I-824. I was looking at it online and also dont understand why we have to do it. It's over $400 and the processing time is up to 6 moths. That's just crazy.

Do you have news about ur case..?

Thank you,

Marketa
