Good Morning My Friends

I'm just looking for some advice. My Fiancée and I filed our petition on July 15th 2013. She was pregnant at the time so the baby couldn't be listed on the petition. We had the baby Sept 3rd.

We received our NOA2 on Sept 21st . I know I could report the birth to the embassy, but there are not appoints available for the rest of the year, and I want to get them both here as soon as possible.

What my question is , Is it possible to add the baby to my fiancée’s petition after we received our NOA2. If so, how, and would it delay our process.

Thank you for your help. This forum has just been invaluable to us during this process.

Is the child yours? You can file CRBA so the child will be a US citizen and will have a US passport.

The embassy will not issue a K2 visa for your child, unless the child does not qualify for US citizenship.

The child's citizenship issue must be resolved first.
