It is hard to draw line by looking at CEAC status cause the way I read here is not consistent the way it changes. My sisters case is In AP since December of last year and the were asked to submit more evidence under 221(g) which I did while I was there in the beginning of January. Never got any positive response from DOS or support@ustraveldocs.com and flat answer was,'we'll let you know or call you since it is in AP'. I got my Senator involved and they said we are waiting for the passports to be submitted.

I personally submitted both passports for my sister and her husband and they returned next week after I dropped with the more evidence. Now my sister dropped the passports with at Drop Off place and the status on CEAC shows 'READY', 'Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html'.

What should I get out of this or what should I do since this is the first day with this status?

hello to all..its been 3 weeks now since i had my interview in USem Manila..my case status still in 'READY' and no updates since then.

Back to my interview, I was told by the consule that my visa is approve and then wait my name to be called for the last step. On my last step the filipino guy there told me they will do an internal checkings first and this will be done at Washington and they will email me as soon they see some problems. AS of now no email received from them. I called them last week and told me that my passport still in the office and still under process. I just want to ask if this is normal? does anyone experience this? and what the best thing that me and my fiance cAN DO...

Me and my fiance were so worried about this,,,hope you can help us..

thanks...

I don't have the answer to that but I will start praying for you both. We will pray that the embassy completes and issues your visa very soon.

GOD Bless

We were in "Ready" mode for 19 days after the interview, until one moment there was a whole flurry of activity. CEAC started saying "Issued" and ustraveldocs, which never recognized any of my #'s, started working. It took a really long time, but once it finally started moving it really moved.

Hopefully soon your checking and patience will be rewarded. We were never told we were missing anything or had any more checking so I'm not sure what to tell you about that part. Sounds like you are soooo close! Good luck.

awww!.. pray!patience! Patience!.im hope soon will be issued in Godspeed!.thanks!:)
