If they are 'secretly' discriminating, how the heck would we find out about it? That would mean it wasn't a very well kept 'secret'.

My husband and I were 21 and 22 at the time our petition was approved. It has a lot to do with other things, where you live, where your fiance lives but I don't think age plays a huge issue (except if there's a big gap in your ages.)

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

I'm 23 also, and my fiance is 24. We met in the Philippines when I was 22. I would think if anything that young people like ourselves that can easily be bar hopping but choose to find a wife to love and settle down forever shows bing maturity, so I wouldnt worry about it

just trust in God and he will bring her home safely

We're 62 and 63 and ready for a second and final time at the alter and figure that if there was discrimination it would be in our favor, we're old with an attitude when need be.

Right now we are being well taken care of, we did have our what the hell moments as everyone else here has or will have but they pass. When looking at the calendar count from today to the beginning of your journey and you will see the beginning slip farther and farther away and that will give you a better feeling than trudging along seeking a destination that is not anywhere and totally out of your personal control.

Something needs to be done about the way Visa's are processed in Manila. I am sure we will have to wait more than 120 days for an interview. Due to the massive amount of applicants, other countries you don't have to wait that long for a K-1. I would love for someone to explain to me why they don't increase staff over there to make it fair for applicants. I have an actual email from the Consular that says that we may have to wait 150 days from the date of reciept at the consular in Manila. I am looking at this non-immigrant visa to take 1 year just because my Finacee is in the Philippines. I will wait for whatever it takes, but why not add another 10-15 Officers to do interviews and move our loved ones a little quicker.
