For 751, how to include photo's in the package and bank account information? (merged topic)

Hello All, I will be filing in November for ROC. My husband has a big surgery coming up, so I'm trying to get as much done ahead of time. I have a lot of photo's to include in my package, from occasions with family, etc. Can anyone tell me how to label and present the photo's? did you just put them all in an envelope so can just shuffle through them? How much info did you write on the back of the photo? (Name, A number, other people in the photo?)

Hello Everybody again, my husband and I are both retired and I think we have lots of evidence. I am having a hard time getting organized with bank accounts. We have one joint account with both our names on the statements, a joint credit card and we use that card for most shopping.

Would it be enough to just include statements for the credit card showing all the shopping activity for every six months, in other words, four statements over two years, showing it as an active account? And the same for our monthly statements for our joint chequing account?

Photos are not considered strong evidence. I would not include them. However, if you do want to include them, labeling them with the date, location and people in the photo should suffice.

Yes, you can just print quarterly statements that span the entire length of your marriage.

We printed out photos on printer paper (for a total of 18 photos), and wrote a one line caption for each picture. Example: "09/03/2011 my husband and I; Times Square, New York City"

For the bank accounts, we made copies of the statements where they showed the account activity, and submitted several statements from the opening of the account up to the time of the ROC.

So you did bring photos and showed it to them?

We didn't have to go in for an interview during the ROC process; we just submitted the package and my husband got his 10 year green card about 5 months after our sending in the paperwork.
