What happens to the 'evidence' at/after the interview?

At my fiance's interview they kept the evidence. These were pictures and some emails (with wedding professionals), all of which we have electronic copies of so it did not hurt to give. The advice that others have given, to take copies, is a good one because there is a chance what you take will stay and become part of your case file. Best of luck at your interview! :D

There's no need to be 'mean' here. I was just wondering since that part made no sense to me. I just had a question and as far as I know, we are all here to ask and answer those.

I'm not being mean, I swear !

It's not that he's being mean... It's a difference in culture. I have a Chinese friend whose personality is much like Darnell's online. A lot of people take what he says the wrong way because, well, at times in Western culture much of that kind of attitude is considered rude. (As a result, he doesn't have very many friends and tends to piss people off.) Sometimes, I think that "Darnell" might actually be him based on his answers. He means no harm.

I think you got a valid point here, I'll accept that. smile.png

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

In Germany you had to send in all of your evidence beforehand by mail. I did not send any originals (hey, all those love letters are MINE MINE MINE! yes.gif), just copies. I did not get any of the evidence back at the actual interview (I assume because the stack was too big to fit through the little slot under the window), but they sent it all back along with my passport and visa.

Also, I didn't give them the letters, I made copies of the envelopes and submitted pictures of them. Hubby brought his envelopes (from me) to his interview but they didn't want to see the mountain of (additional) evidence he brought with him. So when they handed back the mountain of evidence we submitted beforehand, he had two mountains of stuff in his bag. He said he felt like a pack mule lol

Actually, I was wondering how they would fit our case file into the brown envelope since what we submitted was 6 inches thick (yes, we front-loaded...1 red flag...wife is much older). But that question was answered when they gave almost everything back to him at interview.
