Mailed our packet today 10/22:)

We only included a copy of the gc, our tax returns, and pictures... After seeing what you all included as evidence, I am already having a good feeling for getting a RFE;) hahaha

We will see!

We are loving San Diego more and more, as we have started fishing since last summer. So many fish to catch!

I have never been there, but in my mind, Oklahoma, and Kentucky remind me of the geico ad where the old McDonald says "COW..., Eieio. Dagnabbit!" Hehehe

My husband is from Alabama, and I love going back there~*

I think we will eventually move there when we get older, but for now, San Diego is our home, sweet home:)

No worries.. All the different dates can be confusing! The "Date of I-751" is the date you sent your petition. The NOA1 date is the date on your extension letter.

Yes I'm curious to see how our case processing compares.

It looks like we're no longer on the same dates! I got confused and inadvertently listed the wrong dates! I have updated now and hope you have gotten your ASC letter by now or if not yet within the week or early next.

Updated biometrics. We've been waiting for biometric notice, finally arrived yesterday (October 24th) with an appointment set for 8am on the 23rd, and it was mailed on the 9th. This mail delay set us back and to slight panic. Called USCIS "800" number on bottom of biometric appointment to explain and asked if USCIS in Helena, Montana (our service center) would accept walk-ins. The people on the phone had "no idea" and could only suggest driving there (several hours away for us) and try a walk-in. It was a gamble to drive several hours with no guarantees, but we did it today and it was a success.

The folks working at the USCIS center in Helena, Montana were really nice and understanding had no problem with processesing us as a walk-in and 2 days late due to mail arriving late. No problems and in and out in 20 minutes after waiting on another couple. By the way, nice folks at the USCIS office in Helena indicated they have occasionally processed walk-ins for biometrics for people who had appointments in other states, but were passing through Montana on vacation, and they have processed people as much as a week earlier than their appointments.
