Just received an NOA telling us that: The FBI was unable to read your fingerprint card. So, please drive for two hours again so the same people who could not get it right the last time can not get it right again. Of course, the last is my view, but are these people just amatures or what? Paula was finger printed three times the last trip. Could they not get it right on at least one try? And do the people doing this have no training or criteria about what the finger prints should look like to be readable?

Sorry, this is just a bunch of ####### and I know I am just venting. Maybe I should start with: read the next message and skip this one. :)

Better now than 6 months down the line :)

Just go back from second fingerpirint session. Different person, different technique, only one try needed to get the job done. It is easy when you get someone who knows what they are doing. Back to waiting


If USCIS is still on track with how they have been approving ROCs, people should start hearing back mid-January. Good luck!

4/24/13 - Submitted I-751 application

4/26/13 - I-751 officially filed

6/11/13 - Biometrics done

8/14/13 - Rec'd RFE

9/21/13 - Submitted RFE response

9/23/13 - RFE response rec'd at VSC

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

Also, I just wanted to say that I didn't mean to imply that I should get special treatment just for taking a few more trips. It's just that we'll be in Oklahoma for 2 more months and I really wish we can finish this process before going back to CA. I'm not looking forward to changing our address in the middle of the process and have something get delayed if we have to reschedule an interview, or worse, something gets lost or mishandled due to address change.

hi all.i sent my I-751 to Vermont October 18,october 25 I got Noa1,october 31 got biometrics,biometrics taken November 22,case fransfered to California November 25.

I afraid I didn't send enough evidence or maybe I did.i didn't read well the instructions and I just sent this...bank account but the last month statement only,electricity bill last month only,comcast bill last month only,cellhpone bill last month only,lease of our apt,insurence bill of our apt,2 affidavit of 2 friends,copy of my green card,our DL with same address,our Walmart credit cards,geico insurance of our 3 cars,copy or our 2012 Toyota car we purchased,copy of our fertility treatment because we want to have a baby,2011 and 2012 taxes transcripts,our car registration,photos and one letter of irs resending us a refound.

I didn't know I have to send some bills of the last months so that's why I am a bit worry if they will ask me for more evidence or what do you guys think ?

On January 17, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I knew we would soon start seeing approvals, did not think I would be among the first.
