My original bio appointment was 11/29 but due to work had to change it. My new bio date is Dec 5. I also got a letter yesterday stating my case was transferred to csc.

Updated your info but need the date on your transfer letter. :)

On this thread

Is our evidence insufficient? Suggestions?

a user crisppian said they are October filer. I am not sure if they want to be added on October filer's tally. Just a thought for % tracking.

Gosh my case has been transferred from Vermont to California! What does that mean?

From what I have seen in the other threads, VSC is very busy and needed CSC's hand. Probably your case is in your Local Office with CSC in supervision.

Nothing to worry about, your case is being reviewed.

So our case got transferred recently.

I know it's a random crapshoot but I really hope we can go through this process without an interview, considering we already had an interview for the AOS.

I sent in a boat load of documents, but I think the following should automatically get us the ROC. laughing.gif

Her parents, brother, aunt, best friend's family, etc all came to California for the wedding. I included pictures of my family and her family together in the application.

She updated her family registrar "Koseki" to update her marriage status and new last name. From what I've heard few Japanese women actually do this. I included the koseki and translation in the application.

I flew to Japan to attend the K-1 interview and went back again to pick her up. All in all I went to Tokyo 17 times in the last 7 years, including 5 times in 2009. I included copies of all the passport stamps in the application.

Shouldn't we just get the new green card automatically at this point? energy.gif

@yagisama, I totally agree with you. My case has been transferred to California Service Center as well.

I don't really understand why we have to go through this process. Is that because of the government shut down?? Non-f-sense.

BTW, would you or someone put my case into the CSC list please? I honestly don't know how to put my name

and update the lists. Thank you so much.

If by "process" you mean the transfers, then it's just because VSC is currently backed up.. Transfers between service centers happen all the time and shouldn't adversely affect processing times unless they somehow lose your file. In fact, recent trends seem to suggest that getting an I-751 transferred reduces the time it takes for an approval.. sometime by a lot!

What's the date printed on your transfer letter? Need that info for the list. I'd be happy to move your name. :)
