Ok Danno, what are the legal points? She was told to her face she wasn't hired because she was black. That's racist and discrimination. Your move.

She was allegedly told

She has not one shred of evidence

A small family owned business now owes her 10K

You kidding me

Good question, how would Hispanic servers diminish the atmosphere of a Authentic Russian Cafe?

One of the Most stark reminders of how "higher principles" concerning race are all pap is the way the Black Congressional conference, tells white they -Need not apply.

Think about that, within the highest offices of power, this goes on.

This group of the most powerful Blacks gets to turn White members away but this little guy with a cafe does not have the same right?

There is a name for these type of groups.

Your answer is it doesn't. I've been all over the world, seen plenty of folks working in ethnic settings. I've seen a chinese restaurant ran by whites and hispanics, didn't complain one bit. I've seen blacks employed by Japanese restaurants, no problems there, seen pinays employed by almost every country I've been it, no worries. This lady wasn't hire due to her skin color, she would scare away customers. Can you explain that Danno? A black woman as a threat.

You seem laser focused on the CBC, because the mere fact that it's black only and the fact that it says that bothers you. Would you like to see whites only Danno? Because it looks like if it's white on black racism, you spend all day trying to explain it, when it's reversed, your views change. You can't argue it effectively because deep down it bother you.

I denounced all racism, ALL. I don't stand by the CBC and damn sure not this. Can you say the same thing?

Why is this so hard to believe? This happens all the time all over the world.

Know what is funny...If whites used the app to avoid minority owned businesses and support white businesses that would be seen as shockingly racist.

If blacks use it to avoid white owned business and support black owned business , well that's progress

Yes libs are that stupid

Can you imagine the outrage

When was the last time you heard of someone, anyone being forced to frequent a specific store or business? How do you think that has any relevance at all? Seriously, this defies logic, it's simply irrational.

I usually don't reply to you because you make no sense

You did not fail to achieve that on this

No one has said one word anywhere about forcing anyone to do anything

There is no law that compels anyone to frequent or not frequent a specific business based on any criteria whatsoever therefore your pondering as to whether or not black or white people frequent businesses using racial criteria is irrelevant. There is however a clear law that it is illegal to turn someone down for employment simply because they are black. That's called racism and the compensatory system for being a victim of racism is perfectly reasonable, to everyone except well, racists.

You can't not hire someone just because they are black, regardless of your perceptions of how doing so might damage your business. This is not news Danno, it's called 'racism'.

The fact that you do not understand why victims of racism deserve damages is your problem. You appear to believe that racism isn't serious and that victims of racism are merely whiners and spongers. That's not new either but it does demonstrate a woeful ignorance of how racism effects those at the receiving end.

Your views are abhorrent.

I simply take up a issue that is a blatant double standard and you want to deflect from valid points made concerning the app directing people away from white business and toward Black ones, or the glaring case of how Whites are excluded from joining in the effort to farther the interests of Blacks on the Congressional Black Caucus. Instead you find it easier to come after me, supposing you know how I feel on the issue.

Why is it no other group is expected to look past their own interests and seek whats best for others. only whites are duped enough to suggest it and then follow through.

I think unless there were some reason we are not aware of...... the guy is pretty low, first for making a judgment about the girl (if events took places as she claims) and secondly for telling the girl- "Hey by the way, I am not hiring you simply because you are black.... and people around here are not used to Blacks."

I would much rather that the neighborhood would use the effect of "public shame" to punish the guy and to serve as a warning for others.

However I am against laws put in place to punish such cases. Now if she can show in a civil case where she was harmed, well ok.

But what damage did she suffer, except perhaps hurt feelings? I don't minimize that but I don't believe Gov't are best solution in these matters because as we have seen, some peoples feelings are protected and others aren't, some people and groups are made to bow to the will of law makers and special interests and others are exempt.

This man has invested his own money and work to make a business for himself, how dare you or I tell him who he must hire when we are insulated from any risk?

Good grief Danno, no I am not going to tell you why racism laws were introduced and why they are still required. If you believe that black people would get a fair go at life in the US without these safety nets, well, you clearly have zero understanding of the problems then and the problems now that face minority groups who are targeted and castigated. You Danno, are part of the problem, not part of the solution. You demonstrate this time and time again.

I'll ask a better question, how does a black person detract from a business?

There is a night club in Atlanta called Magic city. A Gentleman's club

They employee only hot young black women as dancers( or at least that is all i saw several years back)

Is that Racist /

How would hiring white girls in proportion to their % of the population detract from the business ?

Has any white girls tried to apply there? If they did and they were turned away, it's wrong. I've been to a few all black strip clubs in East STL back in 2008, there is always at least one or two white girls working there.

Hey Danno, if you ever want to talk about a hypocrite, take a good look in the mirror, because you only seem to champion rights of those who look like you.

So they hire one token white girl and discriminate against the rest ? Is that not racism?

As for your commit about Danno only championing rights for people that look like him or to borrow a term from you "My people"

Your kidding right ? That is like you bashing the guy who did not want to marry a black woman, although you are black and have been married twice neither time to a black woman.

As much as you talk about taking up for your people, you make a statement like that
