USCIS approved my petition on August 13, 2013. I've been calling NVC and they have not received the petition yet from USCIS and allow up to 8 weeks. I cant wait that long because other people received theirs after few days and this my more than 6 weeks of waiting. I call them everyday and emailed them one time on 09/25/2013, NVC advised to scan and email the approved petition and they will contact USCIS on my behalf. Still waiting for their responds. does anyone has the same situation?cry.gifsad.png

Just be patient. But I will advise you to keep on email NVC and USCIS because NVC has power to search your case from from USCIS after 2 months of approval. After my approval, my was sent from NVC to TSC by mistake. So they had to reapprove my case again due to expiration. It took my about 10 weeks to finally arrive to NVC. You need to keep call an officer, not lever 1 but 2. Tell them you want to talk to an officer. Keep call in everyday until you a get good answer. Keep sending multiple email until you get an answer. When you talk to an officer, just be polite and keep the conversation going. Just be nice to them and explain what's going. Ask him or her where is your case? The officer knows everything about your case. Some may tell and others don't. But you need to dig with a polite voice.

My petition took 5 days for nvc to recieve it

Please understand - casefile travel is different, K-1 (your visa type) compared to F2A (OPs visa type). It's not fair to compare the two, at all.

Historically, all F2As went to storage at NRC , waiting for PD to be current.

Last month and this month, F2As were all declared current and we've seen fast-moving stuff.

My worry (and maybe the OPs) is that the casefile went off to NRC instead of NVC. Or it's still at the local office.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Being jeolous that other people are getting theirs within a week or a few days doesnt do you any good. If you cant wait than tell your fiance to cancel and start over and maybe yours can be within a few days too, this is ridiculous if you dont want people to lash out on this than pls choose your words wisely as this is ridiculous( cant wait that long) shocked.gif .

Myou, just to correct you I am the petitioner. I filed immigrant visa for my minor child.

This is USCIS. This is a Govt agency. Patience is the key. My citizenship process took 8 months while others in the same jurisdiction took 4 to 5 months. Yes i was upset but each case is different. Just hang in there.
