Waiting for an interview

Hi guys! Our case was completed at NVC on Sept 19th and we are still waiting for an interview to be scheduled with the embassy in Kingston. Anyone else out there still waiting? We are praying we geta November interview date. But now with this government shutdown upon us not sure if this is going to happen?

So just here waiting and dying from waiting lol. Anyone else out there waiting for a November date?

Yeah we are still waiting too our case is ready from the 23th but until now i did not got any letter from the nvc or any letter from the embassy or any packet idk but i guess there is somthing is going on with this this government shutdown because our case left the nvc on the 18th but until now they did not send us the letter !!!

Don't think anything is going on except USCIS is backed up right

now in all areas, some will have to wait a few more weeks or mths

but if everything is in order then great when the time comes

Just called DOS, they said Packet 3 was mailed out today. I had already sent them the DS-260 via email on the 24th. I also sent them two emails stating that on the 25th but they have not responded. I requested P3 and P4 via email but no response and no packet 4. Not sure what is going on with them since they went to DS260 online. Maybe they still looking for DS-230, because they not up to speed with the new process

I think the K1 process is different than the CR1 because all our correspondence has been with the NVC. They are scheduling our interview. They say they are waiting on availability from Kingston. I am so sick of waiting. I just wantaa date, any date.

Cant U email them to see if an available date came up?

if not it seem within a mth you should get a date based

Kingston is still requesting the DS-230 along with the DS-260 online. Kingston will not schedule an interview unless they receive a mailed signed DS-230 or a signed scanned email copy(preferred) of a completed DS-230. Kingston usually takes about 7 days to respond to emails

Thanks. Can you share with me what the instruction was in the packet 3 you received, what do we need to send to the embassy to get an interview appointment?
