I posted that in another thread and got no response..If I lived anywhere close to the Midwest I'd go to Overland Park and knock on doors..Ask people going in and out if they can pass along any info that could help us...The answers are there..It just takes a little courage and a lot of persistence to find them.

I think it may be easier if we contact a reporter from Kansas city newspaper? like the report on lee summit. someone can investigate? but i am not even sure how we can ask as a group and if a reporter would do that for us...not sure what kind of numbers we can get out of the vj forum or hits too

or even contact the govt reps from there in regards to teh same but only as a group would help.

Maybe someone with a pending case that's been sitting at Overland Park KS for more than 6 months can call and talk to tier 2 officer and demand some updates other than just keep waiting.

Overland Park has been receiving petitions since May 1st.

We'd have to wait til Nov 1st for someone to call and ask ...

Overland park starts processing I-130 petition on September 30th.. the normal processing time for I-130 is 6 to 10 months... So Visa in hand would be probably around 8 to 10 months to a year.. so if you filed on May, November would have been on the 6th month right?? So 6 months of pending plus another 6 months processing from November equals to a year.... Thats why people receiving their response from congressional inquiries or senetor that they have to wait another 6 months by the time they received the response from them? But then again its just my estimate...

I tried multiple ways, calls to the national customer service center, email the NBC, and I even contacted the director of USCIS. The director sent some one from the liaison unit to follow up with me and I haven't heard from them since, I'll contact them again later this week....... At this point, I am just wondering if it is worth it for me to file for K3 visa.............

This is precisely why we need this topic!! It's hard to believe that all we know about this facility and the infamous Division 8, is the info comming from the semiannual NBC-AILA meeting!!!!! nearly 6 months ago!!!!

I hope that VJers' who get approvals (or anything else) from Overland Park will keep us informed.

I have I-130 for my husband with Overland Park, KS from May 13th. No response yet.
