and it is not over then...

because all this "traffic jam" at the MSC will for sure continue once everybody will be at the NVC

NVC timelines will therefore ALSO be extra long

Nah, it's okay, I was thinking the same thing, tbh. I mean, we're really just trying to qualify our relationship now. We haven't even gotten to the actual part where we deal with getting a visa. I think I'd be happy with getting any real, accurate kind of a time line. They can't even give me that, and that is what has me so fired up.

hello here is a little info:

Our pd is 29th June.

my husband address changed (in France) so I had to find out how i can report. I was told that writing letter to overland park where our file is at.

I sent letter 2 weeks ago and today I checked our status on web, it says "october 28th, your address was changed...."

so it means some people are working over there @OVERLAND PARK Kansas.

There's definitely something going on at Overland Park. My status has been updated about 4 times now. Once for initial review, twice for bounced check, third time for confirmation of new payment, and 4th time to inform us our NoA1 has changed, so we're expecting to receive that soon in the mail.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

why did they take so longto cash check? mine was cashed within like a day of receiving. also dont think that is overland park. its a private contractor at the po box who cashes check I think. so not sure this means anything for overland park.

Always double check your documents and forms. Not only do you get delayed by RFEs and Checklists, but the time it takes for them to review the new items you send could be used to approve more applications. Save yourself and others valuable time!

Current Status: NVC:
-Assigned and Received NVC Case Number, IIN, and BIN April 18, 2014. (100% sure case # was assigned today because I called twice and it wasn't assigned in the morning when they opened but in the afternoon it was)
*Could not provide email then as case was still being updated in their system
-On April 21, 2014 I was able to provide my email and beneficiary's.
-On April 28 I was able to fill out DS-261
-On April 29 I received and paid AOS Fee (at 1pm)
-On May 1 I received and paid IV Fee (at 1pm [became available]), also AOS Fee shows as PAID
-On May 5 IV Fee shows as PAID and DS-260 became available and was completed. Also, AOS Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 7 IV Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 28 AOS Accepted

-On June 2 IV Accepted/Case Complete

-On June 11 Interview Email Received

-On July 3 Interview at Moscow

Note: Medical Exam scheduled after interview letter received by calling the specific clinic, earliest appointment was 2 weeks ahead)

-Visa approved, came to us, got greencard, sadly things didnt go well and divorced. Last I hears she was still in the US and got a full greencard (I notified USCIS of divorce though)

Any news from overland park ks of aprovals

No. But one October filer just reported his file was sent directly to Nebraska.

Seems like USCIS gave up on Overland Park ever becoming fully operational.

I wouldn't be surprised if all OverlandParkers' files were sent to Lee's Summit now.

When two people are meant for each other, no time is too long, no distance is too far, no one can ever tear them apart.
