I need my husband's interview scheduled before December starts

So I'm planning to fly to the Philippines to be with my husband at his interview but I can't book my flight yet because I'm waiting on my husband's interview to be scheduled and I want my flight before December starts. We submitted the DS-260 online on September 21st and my husband emailed the supporting civil documents the same day but he received an email from NVC on wednesday, 9/25/13 that the documents should be done by mail due to the assigned consulate/US embassy in Manila doesn't participate in the National Visa Center's Immigrant

Visa Electronic Processing Program so he mailed the documents on Thursday, 9/26/13 and it takes 3-5 days for the NVC to receive the documents. How long have you guys waited for the interview to be scheduled after completing and submitting the DS-260 online?

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance :)

They will give you an interview schedule once your case is complete at NVC.

It takes 20-30 business days for NVC to review the AOS and IV packages. If you don't get a checklist (for errors or lacking documents), you'll be case complete in no time. However, if you got a checklist, it will take another 20-30 business days for NVC to review the checklist that you have submitted.
