Hello, my fiancee just found out she has a bad dated record on her Police Certificate saying "Procession of drugs. Fine, education", which reminded her that she went to a nightclub with a group of friends 8 years ago, run into a police check at the club, and all got brought to the police station. She gave urine test, fingerprinted at the station and was released without fine for negative drug test.

Anyway, as bad as the record has sounded, she is very upset and shocked as I can imagine. After all these efforts and time put into this process, it's hard to believe the simplest piece of paper in the whole process would have screwed up.

I am avery concern about her upcoimng interview. I advised her to tell the truth and let the VO to decide whether to believe her or not... but will she even have a chance to pass the interview at GUZ? Can anyone please suggest or advice, or has the experience? Please help, greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Zach.

Zach - she was arrested, detained, tested and let go without further charges? IF that's the case, I suggest you and her practice writing a letter of attestation about the arrest, 8 years ago,

making pointed references to the fact that she got caught up in a police sweep at that club, and she not have any drugs on her or in her.

You should (IMO) pay for a consult with Marc Ellis, an immigration attorney that specializes in harder cases for Guangzhou and Ho Chi Mihn. google 'Marc Ellis Immigration' for his website and contact info.

Thanks Darnell for the great advise on making pointed references. Her mom had talked to the lawyer there last week for attestation but she wasn't quite buying that would change anything due to the fact how things work there. I'll certainly convince her to do that. Also thanks for the recommendation on the immigration attorney. Appreciate your help. :)

sorry, I meant her mom was looking into option of filing a complaint to psb about the inaccurate record. Yes, I am going to help her with the letter of attestation, just not sure the VO will even accept it. I've also got Marc Ellis' contact number in China. Thanks again. You are really helpful. innocent.gif
