Hello friends,

I'd like to know that after getting my K1 Visa what procedure do i follow to get my family's tourist visa in order to get them to attend my wedding. What visa, how much fees etc?

Good Factors:

Both my parents are 50+

They own a beautiful home worth over 150K$+

They own a sucessful business in 3 different countries

Have a powerful bank statements and assets list

Bad Factors:

My brother is working in the dad company but doesnt have seperate bank statement/property.

My sisters according to our traditions is still bound to my father untill there married so they are going to be classified as unemployed.

Anyone else has gone through this? Does US Consulate view this as one whole family visa app or view each and every application seprately which makes my case worse.

What is the fees for Tourist visa and how long does it take to issue it, if prompt sucessfully?

Hi ! Welcome to Visajourney.com

When you study the US Embassy Website for the embassy in that foreign country,

study the tourist visa section.

All ya need, is there.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I never understand why people don't bother indicating what country they are talking about.

You don't follow any procedure because you don't apply for these visas. The people that do require a visa will apply as individuals. The visas will be granted or denied on the merits of each application.

The parents may have a chance if they understand how to comply with the strongest ties rules. The home could be sold. The businesses are already being run from one country so replacing that countries name may be easy. Its takes minutes to have money in banks moved around the world. These things alone may not prove those ties. It takes a total understanding of how to present the case.

The brother and sister may have a lot more problems getting a visa. Especially when the embassy realizes the whole family is trying to come to the USA together.

A lot of what should be done depends on the specific country. Some are harder to deal with than others.

My twin brother is same age as me, 21 Years Old. My elder sister is 24 and lil sister is 16 and still under dads responsibility.

We're all from Pakistan but currently living in Dubai, United Arab Emriates. They travel back and forth frequentally but not anywhere else.

Only my lil sister is studying and everyone else is pretty much graduated. We all hold Dubai Residence visa.

I understand how everything can be sold and moved but from what i heard that if you're applying for a tourist visa you must prove that you are gonna go back and the only way you can do it is by giving them supporting document which is house/bankstatments/assets etc.

I answered the siblings question in upper section of this post, please read.

Thanks for the response guys!

so, you 'heard' something about tourist visa?

Cool !

Please to read about it, at the US Embassy Website for 'that' country, in the tourist visa section.

There is nothing wrong with trying to present the items you indicate because they are part of a normal presentation but those things alone may not suffice. These tourist visas are difficult to obtain which means all the people that submitted these types of items as proof of returned in many case were denied. That includes me.

The younger people will probably never be granted a tourist visa. Certainly not as a traveling family.

What must be understood is the requirement that the person applying must PROVE beyond doubt that they MUST return. Think of them as individuals and then think of what it is exactly that would force them to return. That's all they can do.

Keep in mind that all people holding any type of visas are considered intending immigrants. This concept must be offset during the application.

Be sure to do as Darnell suggests.

Plus AP for Pakistan.

administrative processing... the time after you have your interview (and hopefully approved) and when the visa is actually "issued" ... good luck...
