I just got married and in the process of doing a concurrent filing of my I130 and I485.

Which option do I choose on I485 2A,since my spouse hasn't applied yet for me?

2A asks for the basis on which I'm applying for adjustment of status.

Unless you can get the packet into their hands no later than close of business Monday I don't think you will be able to do a concurrent filing. The correct answer would be a I believe since with concurrent filing the petition is being filed with the I-485.

Belinda63,do you mean for next Monday or in general? I thought you can send the applications in on any day of the week?

Harpa, she is USC.

Thanks for your responses.

OP: Your original post seemed like you were talking about F2A category (spouse of permanent residents), which I believe led Belinda to mention a timeline.

But you were talking about section 2A in the I-485 (I also had to read it twice).

As such, your spouse is a USC, there is no deadline you need to follow. The answer in part 2 for you is A.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Sorry for the confusion, but I really appreciate your input.
