I am filing an AoS for my F-1 spouse, and ran into a dilemma when filling out the G-325A. Since he arrived in the US in 2007, I have been shuttling back and forth between the state where he is attending his doctoral program, and my home state where I have been attending school. My physical residence in that state adds up to between 71 to 158 days per year for each of the past 7 years. Can I go ahead and put both of our addresses on the "applicant's residence last five years" question, even if the dates overlap? I've maintained residence in my home state for school purposes, but if I only list my home state address on that question, then it makes it seem like we've been living separately the entire time, which just isn't true. I don't want them to overlook the fact that we've spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to live with each other as much as our obligations allow us.

Hello torta,

I had a quite similar situation like you are at right now. I would go ahead put any physical addresses that you had stayed. Also, it would help for them to understand better if you attach separate sheet and give them explanation, why there is overlap and stuff. I think it would be better this way than listing just certain address.

good luck!

Very similar situation here.

I put both addresses on the sheet and wrote presenet in the second one since the first row alsready spelled out present.

I put the address where I receive mail as the main one.

As a USC, where do you get most of your mail? Where are you registered to vote? That's your primary residence.

Our inverview is in a month, so I will let you know if they question that.
