Shreddies have just arrived America - Look for it in the store in a sky blue box, with big yellow headline that says NEW (ha!) and it's called Shredded Wheat Bite Sized CRUNCH! It's shreddies with a few pointlessly added clusters of granola. Found it at Wal-Mart and yes, it IS Shreddies!

I went up to Canada for a weekend this past week and had a Tim Hortons iced capp. Soooo amazing and I couldn't stop wishing I had access to it in the USA. Well, my husband decided to do something about that. It's not like you can just drive it down since by the time you get there it's melted. He ordered a product on Amazon and MADE US ONE! It tastes pretty similar actually and he's planning to tinker with it until it's even closer. Yum.

I like doing the same type of thing but I've been thinking local. We live in Washington so we get Tim's Cascade potato chips and the local wines for my family. There's also an awesome store called Made in Washington where I ordered my parents some soap made with local flowers and berries as a gift when they next come to visit. Maybe you have something similar in your state. As for USA wide, I am guessing you could go with American brands of chocolate bars they don't have up there perhaps.

Oh and since it's Washington.... local coffee. Haha.
