My application that was filed by my Mum(Petitioner), having a Permanent Residents, for an unmarried child in 2002 and was approved in 2005, got revoked in 2010, just at the final stage, because of change of status(I got married). I never knew it'll affect the application. I've submitted all the necessary documents to the NVC before the news of the revoking came. They're still(NVC) with the originals of all my documents for the past 2yrs. What do you suggest I do?

I am sorry to hear that your petition had been revoked. There is no category of petition for a married child of a green card holder. So when you got married ,your petition became void. Now, my question is did your mom apply for citizenship before you got married? Then your petition could had been moved to married child of USC. Now if not, the only recourse is for your mom to be a USC and apply for another petition for you. Again, I am sorry.

A permanent resident can never have a petition for a married child. Your case was automatically revoked when you got married.

There is nothing to do about your case. It's over.

If your mom is now a US citizen, then she can file a new petition for you. It will take about 12 years.

If you are asking about how to get your original documents back, then you will need to contact the NVC.
