Copy of your medical examination

Hi everybody,

I just arrived on saturday on K1. At the POE I handed the brown sealed envelope to the immigration officer - I kept it still in the envelope the embassy used to send everything to me. Inside the envelope was, as I said before, the brown envelope and also a smaller white envelope that reads: DO NOT OPEN THIS ENVELOPE - it contains a copy of your medical examination. Please provide it to the USCIS when requested in conjunction with your adjustment of status.

The officer did not take the white envelope and I have it still with me. Do I need to send it in with my AOS package? Or do I wait for USCIS to request it? Should the Immigration Officer have taken it? I am a bit confused now. I also got a copy of my vaccination sheet during my medical. I thought that the only thing I need.

I believe some consulates give a copy of the medical forms, including the DS-32035 vaccination sheet, in an envelope that they state you send in with your AOS paperwork. It is not really necessary, as they have a copy of your medical already that was in the sealed envelope you turned in at your POE. Maybe those from Germany will come along and be able to let you know what they did with the extra medical copies. I would personally hold onto them in case the USCIS lost mine. It happens sometimes.
