I have noticed that when you give employees too many choices, they make bad decisions, especially when they are young and just getting started. They go for the plan that gives them the most take home pay, and then can't afford the copays and deductibles when they need to see the doctor, so they go into debt, and either quit, or have their wages garnished. Happens way too often.

This applies to Pensions vs 401ks as well.

I have no idea but the amount of posts made by progressives only during working hours sure hurts productivity

They should all be back from lunch shortly, to spend another afternoon doing nothing to earn their pay while complaining about evil businesses in America.

Sure it does, and a good reason to send an employee home early if they get caught.

I'm a good multi-tasker.

A lot of my work is writing up reports and making spreadsheets. I have VJ on one monitor, Excel/Word on the other and I'm good to go.

Everyone else I work with are sales people who do not have time to do all of this report writing and spreadsheet making and paperwork organizing in between taking calls from their customers. I'm their only assistant, so I'm not too worried about them getting rid of me simply because I'm able to do their projects quickly enough to screw around on the internet.

These sales people, do they sell paper products? The description you gave there makes it sound like you work at Dunder Mifflin.

If I'm asked to cover certain assignments of other employees I have more time to post. When working my own projects it's sporadic. In-between assignments it depends on whether its football season. ;)

Right now I am actually taking a break. (That's a rarity mind you.)

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Ok, fine, you are the exception to the rule that busy people do not post on forums all day.

hardly..It's a known fact the Libs own the day. They are scarce nights and weekends.

Everyone is scarce nights (probably weekends, too... I dunno, I'm usually too busy doing fun things to check VJ on the weekends).

Whenever I come home from work and log in to catch up, it seems like this place is a ghost town.
