USCIS forward civil documents to NVC (or just approval)

Hi Guys,

It looks like we are almost ready to get our appointment at the embassy in Bogota. So far, the only civil documents they have asked for is a police certificate. I'm guessing this is because the USCIS already had the rest of the documents and forwarded them to the NVC upon approval? Or should I expect an email asking for these documents again?

Thanks in advance!

Jesse

You was waiting for this day in the Bogota Embassy for a long time, if I were you I get all the ammunition,,, in stead of jessyjames with 6 shoot pace-maker revolver

I will take Machine gun Kelly!!! with 200 round. (more fire Power) take all the civil standard documents mentioned in this web-side."IN CASE"

Provably you will doing fine; but be ready for a fast and furious experience during the interview . it is optional for the Consul approved or not her visa be ready for the best expecting the worst.

Gear up and be ready and take everything you got ..... regardless what they want ... if they do not ask for it will be fine but if they ask YOU GOT IT!!!

Good luck and safe trip to the final destination

The NVC usually requires civil documents to be submitted with the immigrant visa application package, even if you had sent the copies of said documents with the original petition.

civil docs at USCIS ? Huh ?

Apologies - but civil docs are to be sent in to NVC, during NVC document intake phase.

I see you just paid the IV fee on 2013-09-19 - so what are your plans to get the DS-260 done and the required civil docs for the IV phase at NVC?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I am afraid that you are waiting on something thats not going to happen. Until you are complete at NVC and got CASE Complete from them no interview will be assigned.

you need a lot more than just submitting a police certificate. When did you send in the DS-230 or DS-260 online? It's taking 30 days to review. I would gather you just haven't been reviewed and got the checklist for all the other things you need to send in.

Did you actually verify you have case complete?
