Question for anyone who has made an infopass

I just made an info pass appointment and it says to bring with you

applicable immigration forms, letters, and receipts and supporting

documents. Does this mean everything I submitted with my I-130

petition?

Yes I also made an appt with info pass, and will be bringing all docs that I will submit with my I-130 and our G-325A. will be bringing the original docs and one copy of each along with some additional docs that they are not asking for, just in case they do lol. This NOA1 you will get after you file.

I am a Jan.22nd 2013 filer for the I-130 for my wife.

We are in our 9th month already and have not received

our NOA2 and im tired of waiting. When I go for the

infopass does anyone know if it really does any good

or do they just tell you at the infopass the same info

you get from a tier 2 officer. Im ready to get my wife

here as I know everyone else is wanting there loved

ones with them too. If anyone has experienced an

infopass in Atlanta your input will be appreciated

so I will know what to expect.

I went to atlanta for my infopass today and the guy told me that he will just look for our files and his going to approve it. They look for it for 20 mins and they cant find. It was very frustrating we have been waiting for noa2 for almost 9 months and we've been waiting for nothing bcoz no one is looking at our files and worst of all they've lost it. The guy gave me an envelope with his name on it and told me to mail him our married license and our 2x2 pictures. I ask him if I need to mail him all the supporting documents he said that he don't need it. He will adjudicate our case right away when he receive. I don't know what to do now I can mail him what he need but i'm afraid that they will lost it again. i'm trying to call my lawyer but his not answering. Please if anybody has this kind of experience can you advise me what should i do?

that's exceptionally weird.

but it's atlanta, which is also exceptionally weird.

still, good on ya for getting a human who has an interest in adjudicating yer casefile. That's a win, absolutely !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

i hope so you know the feeling when you get there and he'll tell you he'll approve the application right away since I travel a long way and after that hell get back to you and tell you that they've lost your file i felt like crying. But he told me hes taking all the blame and just mail him all the stuff that he needs its a good thing that I have all the copies of my file and supporting docs.

i did 4 infopass appointments and have been following the atlanta local office thread.

When I say Atlanta is weird, I mean that, sincerely.

Seriously - follow what that guy said to you, as he has an interest to adjudicate your petition quickly. You gotta take that as I win - as I certainly do !
