My fiance is on K-1 status at the moment. When we get married, we will have to submit for permanent adjustment status.

One of the requirements is to complete the I864 form. Right now I do not meet the income requirements and reside with my mother.

Will my mother have to complete an I-864 form or the 864A? The reason why I ask this, is due to the fact that if she fills out the 864A form with my 864, this would bring the household up to 3. She does not claim me on her taxes, I just live there.

But, is it possible that me and my mom both fill out the I864 each? If so, we are not combining incomes. This reduces the # in each household for part 5 of the 864. Is it ok for my fiance to have 2 sponsors?

You will have your own I-864 form since you are the applicant/primary sponsor. Your mom will fill out her own I-864, she will be the co-sponsor.

If you guys NEED to combine incomes, then I am not sure if she can fill out a I-864a attached to your I-864. But if you do not need to combine incomes, then it's simple.. just both of you fill out a separate I-864. Hope this helps.
