What does Pending Adjudication means? I received a letter from USCIS, after making a call to inquire about my i-485 status. My AOS interview was on May 31, 2013, and no response of approval or denial ever since.

The letter reads as follows:

Our record shows that your i-485 is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date for your i-485. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Ravioli, it means they are still working on it. And I completely understand about the frustration. I'm waiting for an I-130.

It means it has not been adjudicated/processed yet.
