ladies and gents, just looking for some confirmation on the widow of time to file the I-751 , my packing is ready to be sent out for my wife ( conditional card holder ) and I the USA citizen . From what I have the 1-751 should be sent within the 90 days prior to the expiration of the 2 year green card is this still correct ?.. reason i ask is I received a notice in the mail from USCIS kind of a reminder of sorts to do file this however her card expires January 20th 2014 so i was going to mail it out October 20th 2013 90 days out .. should I stick to that plan or send it off now ?.. any and all insight is appreciated

We also received a reminder before our 90 days. It's just reminding you that the time is coming not that you need to send it now. Stick to your plan. If you send it now it will be too early.

The reminder letter for my wife's GC arrived a couple weeks before her 90 day window opened. And, remember it's 90 days (not 3 months), so that's why it's Oct 23rd and not the 20th. A few days after is far better than even 1 day early because they'll just send it back and it'll get back to them even later.

N-400

Feb. 12, 2016 - Sent N-400 to USCIS (3-year rule)

Feb. 19, 2016 - NOA1

Mar. 14, 2016 - Biometrics

June 2, 2016 - Interview - Recommended for Approval
