Yes it does ..However the Govt is not forcing that.. Those guys are APEX guys that are paid huge sums in hopes they will bring huge profits.

McDonald's profits off of unhealthy super cheap food. Their model is to entice poor people who can't afford real food to their stores....so the price of a Big Mac or what have you will stay cheap....

I doubt it. McDonald's CEO was paid $8.75 million USD in 2011. They made a profit of $5.5 billion USD in 2011. The CEO could've made 10 cents for the year, and it wouldn't have affected prices.

The South said that about having to pay slaves on the plantations. They also used the same argument when instituting child labor laws, paying migrant workers when they joined a union and when they instituted the minimum wage.

You're using the age old argument that's posed by the rich every time a worker needs to get a decent wage. A wage they could actually live on. Nothing has changed in 1000 years.

They don't "have to raise prices" they choose to make more money. And you guys buy that line of bullish!t every time.

The fact is they raise prices all the time anyway...at least they'll have a good reason.

I agree with you that they're probably not healthy. But as long as people keep buying cheap hamburgers that aren't good for you, McDonalds will have a business. Every time they try to roll out something healthy, no one buys the product. People go to McDonalds because they want to eat cheap garbage.

That super-size me movie was a pretty good example of them not being good for you. Hell I eat there now and then when I'm in a hurry.

That's actually one of the few Georgians who gets it. It's not the Georgian I had in mind when making the statement.
