Any Updates? Administrative Processing

Hello, I was just wondering did any one hear back from the consulate about their Administrative Processing yet? Or any of you had any status updates on the CEAC site? My husband and I are still waiting it will be 3 months on Friday and the CEAC site got updated two times this week for us. I hope that's a good sign. I'm not sure though. Also if you can post the creation date and the status update from the CEAC site. Thank you!

Everytime I contact the Cairo Embassy by email and get a response or call the NVC and speak with a visa specialist the status update date changes with every inquiry made by me. So far I have not seen my case status update change because the Cairo Embassy has posted new information . We are now 6 months in AP.

wow 6 months? I'm sorry! It's so hard for me and its only been 3 months lol Yeah they tend to change the status whenever you call or send an email. I noticed that and I stopped making any inquiry and it updated by itself 2 times this week. Did you try to contact your congressman? 6 months is a lot.

my fiancee passed her interview and status changed from issued to AP.. did this happen to you?

Inshallah...I hope these updates means good new is around the corner,my prayers are with you. Yes I did contact my congressman on 9-20-2013 but no contact from their office yet. It will probably take 2-4 weeks before they can find out any information.

I leave this to Allah because only he knows the end to this journey.

No, when my husband had his interview the CO told him everything was good and we were approved, but she had to put us under mandatory administrative processing. Did your fiance get a 221g form?

Yes I filled out the release of information form and faxed it back.

me to they updated my status on the 14th sept.17th sept.19 sept.and also 24th sept but still there nothing yet from there my case creation was on 24january2013. visa CR1 i called them last tuesday and they told me that they have some problem on the system so hopefully they can notify us as soon possible inshallah

i did not call during that all updates because i know whenever u called or email them it updated so today i called them and they said they will call me soon so we hope there will be good new sooner inshallah

Insha Allah! did they tell you that they will call you soon like they are almost done with the AP or did they just say it as a reassuring kind of statement?
