221g form lost...

My fiancee made a photocopy of the 221g form that we recently received, but somehow managed to lose the original. There were no stamps, markings, or information on it that shows it to be an original (besides a signature). Although the submission guidelines say the 221g form should be returned with the requested materials, does anyone know if it will it matter that it is not the original? I will likely contact the embassy tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone had previous experience. Thanks!

Well my fiance also had copies of it nd she sent them documents orignals are with me lets see what happens I will let u know

For our case, the customer service representative said the photocopy would not be a problem BUT he said that it is case-specific. So if you lose or misplace your original 221g form but have a photocopy, contact customer service in your embassy.
