The story isn't about Texas.

From the story, IN MARYLAND:

My question is, what's wrong with them needing a license and having their prints taken? Why is that considered "jumping through a million hoops"?

Because it's a God given right in the US Constitution. Anyone should be able to roll outta bed naked, fall into a pile of guns and take any or all of them if they so chose, with no questions asked. This is Murica!!

I pledge allegiance to the gun, loaded in the United States of America...

Yes, we must put the strictest limits on all access to the ballot to avoid this.

Voting is extremely dangerous and not covered in the only true amendment...that would be the 2nd of course.

This is going nowhere. That's not an actual answer.

Dems made a big stink about it Id during the election and how it was going to coz hardship to ppl and on and on.

Now they want to push Id and fingerprint requirement on the certain citizens and they don’t think its undue hardship …. I just pointed how they flip flop.

To be sure, the last thing we need is for someone to walk into an elementary school and murder children with voting cards.

You would be ok with anyone walking in the voting place and vote?

Do you realize what can happen?

I would prefer that over Sandy Hook any day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Precisely. Hundreds can get fatally wounded with stray ballots!

What is the difference between stockpiling and collecting?

Am I a stockpiler or a collector? My oldest gun is manufactured in 1916 in London. My newest is 2013 in Maryland. Half of what I own are replicas from the 19th century.

My ammunition is old as well. 1/3 from the 1940s and another 1/3 from the late 70s and early 80s.
