Hi, I am just wandering if I can bring my family members here in america even I am not yet a citizen? My husband and I are planning to bring my parents here.

You need to make it clear what type of visa they would need. Are you asking about tourist visa or immigration based visa?

What are you looking for? Immigration or visiting?

If immigration, then you need to be a US citizen to petition a parent. Your US citizen spouse cannot petition them. You as an LPR cannot petition them. Only a US citizen can petition for a parent to immigrate to the US.

For visiting, your parents apply based in their circumstances. No one can apply for or guarantee a visitor visa.

You have no idea of what you are talking about nor the damage you may be inflicting on people.

Why don't you just stop judging and get him a visa if you so smart? I know it's 100% possible to bring the parents into the US, I don't know how but I know that it's possible which gave an answer to the original question. The person didn't ask how to bring them, he/she asked if they can bring their parents or not. Yes of course they can bring their parents without being the citizens of the US! But the choice of how to bring them is up to them.

Your response required a lot of caveats to be accurate. A non-US citizen can't bring their parents to live. A non-US citizen can't get their parents a tourist visa (they're not applying for them!). A foreigner may apply for a tourist visa, but it's on their own back to do so and they have to be able to prove they'll be going home again, strong ties home, etc. A letter of invitation can actually be counter-intuitive to achieving a tourist visa.

OP - please do respond as to whether you are interested in bringing you parents to live (immigrate) or to visit. The answer will vary quite a lot depending on your response.

Yes you can. Just invite them, plus you have to prove that you can support them both including your own family financially.

if it were as easy as "inviting" we would all be doing it. Really, don't reply if you don't know the correct answer. And stop arguing with people who know what they are talking about

I don't think a judge would tolerate much from you but here even people like you are allowed to post to my dismay.

It isn't 100% possible to bring their parents. On of course they can not just bring their parents. The choice is not up to them.

All of this just proves how pathetic your knowledge of this subject really is. You don't require a judge. You need to pull the plug on the keyboard completely.

The parents need to understand exactly what it takes if they want to apply for a tourist visa. If that is what the O P is even asking.

If the OP is asking about an immigration based situation then the O P needs to know exactly how that is approached.

The last thing anyone needs is more inadequate, unreliable, worthless advise from you. Such as asking why I don't " get them a visa". You must be displaying a serious sense of humor rather than wanting to be taken seriously by anyone that knows even a little bit about this subject. Should we be laughing now?

You must be a citizen before you can bring you parents here with an immigrant visa, assuming this is what you want. If they want to come just to visit, they must apply and be approved for a visitor visa based on their own merits, you cannot apply on their behalf.
