Hi guys!

Wondering if anyone still reads this thread smile.png

I just went for my vaccinations at TTSH and they said I did not need another MMR injection on top of the two that I got in Primary school.

But I read in past posts that H&C will require a third MMR shot? If so, should I just get an MMR injection at TTSH?

Else I'll have to pay for it at H&C?

Thoughts?

Yes, get the MMR shot at TTSH. H&C will require that you get another one even if you have already had 2, and it is much more expensive there.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

For Singaporeans: I would like to add that even if you do not know where your health booklet is from the 1990s, you should definitely contact the National Immunization Registry for a certified copy of your vaccinations. It is issued free of charge and you could save yourself at least a hundred dollars at Horne & Chin. All you need to do is scan front and back copies of your Identity Card and email them to hpb_nir@hpb.gov.sg. Also include the reason for needing your vaccination records. It takes about a week to process, but it's well worth the wait! Most of us would already have had the two doses of MMR which is lifelong, so you should at least not have to pay for those.

Could I check would the certified copy be mailed out to you or would we have to pick it up ourselves?

I had just called to re-check on the prices for the vaccinations, considering this thread is about a year old.

TTSH Travellers Health and Vaccination Clinic

Prices I believe are for Singaporeans & PR.

Best time for walk-in: 8am-10am

MMR - $30/dose (2nd dose taken 1 month later)

Boostrix - @30

Flu - $18 (1 jab lasts for 1 year)

Varicella Immunity Test - $34

Varicella vaccine - $63/dose (2nd dose to be taken 6 weeks later)

Service & Admin fee (one time payment - don't have to pay this again if you need to take 2nd doses of any of the vaccinations above) - $15

SGH Travel Clinic

Blood test for Mumps/measles/rubella (one each) - $42/test

Test results will only be available 1 week later to see if you're immune to any of the 3 required vaccines.

MMR (2 doses) - $38/dose

Boostrix - $37

Flu - $30

Varicella Immunity Test - $34

Varicella vaccine - $59 (1 dose)

I had some vaccinations done a few years back such as Hep A, Typhoid and MMR. The clinic told me I just had to do those 2 shots which I was missing.

If your fiancée needs shots, this tread might not reflect the prices she would have to spend. Vaccinations are subsidized for Singaporeans in government hospitals.

you can look at this website for the vaccinations she needs.

Hi there! I know this thread is old but I was wondering if anyone had to do Hep B again or if they just had to get a booster? I got the vaccination as a child and I'm not sure if I need to get the booster or not.

Hi all,

https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume8-PartB-Chapter9.html

is this the website where we should refer to the list of vaccine we need to take?

Based on age,  say I am 26, then I just get the the vaccine as below:

Td or Tdap

MMR

Varicella

Influenza (during flu season only; Oct. 1 thru Mar. 31)

Correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you!

Hi guys!

Just a quick update of the price in TTSH 2018: (no big change compared to previous, just in case ppl in the future may need a reference)

Nurse consultation - $15 per person  (if you are pregnant or you have medical history, then you may need doctor consultation $68 per person)

MMR - $29 per dose (2 dose series at least 1 mth apart)

Tdap - $30

Varicella - $63 per dose ( 2 dose series on 0, 6 weeks)

And how much does a blood test may cost? (Some ppl may have chickenpox or had MMR before, they can test the immunization status if needed)

MMR - $121.70

Varicella - $41

*A 15% surcharge is imposed on all services for non-residents.

Allison isn't wrong. Here, look at this table for your reference. Would be helpful to note vaccinations taken later than 10 years ago aren't valid.

at Woodlands Polyclinic

Varicella vaccine $72 per dose (2 doses, 0th and 12th week)

MMR vaccine $40 (1 dose)

Tdap vaccine $50 (1 dose)

No consultation fees.

I am 23, Singaporean, had childhood MMR and Tdap vaccines. Varicella and MMR shots were medisave claimable.

No idea about the titre test except maybe Varicella was quoted $34 but I did not opt for Varicella titre test because titre test wasn't medisave claimable but vaccinations were and I have $400 of unused medisave.

Ask the experts at the clinic. Everyone is different. Prices have changed and no one has addressed the DS-3025 being completed. Otherwise, there is an additional cost for the Civil Surgeon to transpose all your vaccinations to the I-693. Either a "completed" DS-3025 or a transposed I-693 will satisfy the requirements for AOS once you are married in the US and filing. A CS can cost anywhere from $75-$250 if not more to complete this paperwork. So think hard which way you want to go because you might safe a $ here and $ there but once here in the states.....
