how long does NVC take to approve choice of agent

Hey guys...I have submitted choice of agent form.It's been more than 2 weeks that I have it submitted and paid the AOS fees.I have submitted all the AOS documents as well.

How long till NVC activates my IV fees so that I can pay that fee online and submit the civil documents?

Hey Gill2013....does NVC still send the packet or we just submit DS-230 inline and send the civil documents to them.We no kore need to fillnout the DS-230 right?

you can pay DS230 online . However, you have to submit your Ds230 printed or manually and submit in the mail ..this can't be done by online you have to submit all your civil documents or DS230 by mail including your (cover letter) placing on top of all your DOCUMENTS..hope would help

hi everyone..

but on the website it said after i filled the DS-261, it said to expect to pay the IV fees in 3-5 business days.

Or did i understand wrong?

October 1, 2013 - NVC emailed notice of receiving DS-261
October 2, 2013 - Received IV bill
October 2, 2013 - Paid IV bill
October 5, 2013 - Payment Approved
October 6, 2013 - DS-260 submitted online
October 8, 2013 - I-864 and IV supporting documents sent to NVC via snail mail
October 10, 2013 - AOS package entered into system for review
October 11, 2013 - Civil documents entered into system for review
November 6, 2013 - Checklist for AOS received via email
November 12, 2013 - Checklist Response sent via snail mail
November 14, 2013 - AOS checklist response entered into system for review
December 10, 2013 - Case Complete email received

Hi Krispy K, I just noticed on your timeline that it says DS3032 sent -- so it means you sent your choice of agent via email/snail mail using the old format and not the new DS261 online form?

I just asked because we almost have the same timeline, and I sent my COA last sept 10 and til now I don't have my IV invoice yet T_T

my gawd NVC is too slow nowadays
