Sounds like a good sign!!!! I'm surprised you got an answer at all!!! I have a question.....Do you know where your fiance' had to go to get Police records or letter of no conviction? This is the last thing my fiance' has to get and he is getting the run around our interview is Oct 8 and we have No time.

I'm crossing my fingers and praying for you!!!! Inshallah! Everything will be fine!!! Good Luck to you both!! :0)

Thank you =). He had to get it from Kurdistan police. It took him a long time because the police said that the embassy had to tell them he needed it even though my fiance had the paper in his hand saying he had to have it. His interview was originally on July 18 but Kalar took so long to get his Qayd 57 and police report we had to back it for a month an a half. You have to get it from city you live in.

Thank you. My fiancé had to get his from the police in his city which is kalar and they were jerks about it. It took him a month to get it because they said they wanted to see from the embassy themselves that he needed it when he had the paper proving he had to have it. They gave him the run around for a month. Our original interview date was July 18 and because they took so long our interview was postponed for almost two months. Your fiancé needs to get it from the city he lives in.

I think if they kept his passport its a good sign. They kept my husbands passport too. But my husband has been in administrative processing for almost 4 month's now and we still haven't heard anything back from them except that they updated our case 4 times.

Does the embassy in Baghdad, Iraq have a number I can call? I haven't been able to find it online at all and they sure as heck didn't give my husband the number at the interview.

Thanks
