Has anyone else received a notice from the NBC stating they have been identified as a potential interview waiver case? The letter also states that "due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently we anticipate the delay to be approximately 6 months from the date of this letter (29 Aug 2013).

I know that overall, this letter is a good thing, but I can't imagine waiting another 6 months! We filed back in March and have already been waiting 6 months!

Any others? Thanks

I can't find the thread right now, but I know this has been popular on VJ recently. Seems to be pretty common to get that letter. At least you already have EAD and AP!

Hi there!

I received the same letter dated August 29, 2013 as well. We filed AOS last February 28, 2013, almost 7 months of waiting. Let's hope it wouldn't take another 6 months to get our approval.

Yes, this letter is very common. I also received it. I am hoping it won't take another 6 months. Would be unfair to those who have been waiting for a long time already (I applied in early March, so I have been waiting for 6.5 months now; another 6 months would put me over the 12 months mark which is ridiculous).

If you look in the forum, you will see there are lots of threads about those interview waiver letters, like this one:
