In my opinion, I guess the problem could be in your side. The mere fact that the petition was approved means that on your petitioner's side, there is no problem. You have mentioned that the file has been sent to the embassy and later been requested to re-send to NVC. The embassy in your local country can check for any irregularities/problems. You may visit the travel state website for any reasons of ineligibility that you may as well address if possible.

This is just my opinion.

usually, 'interview no-shows' have their casefile sent back to NVC, and it's then shipped off somewhere else (National Records Center, maybe? ) for other stuff, one option being casefile destruction.

IMO, at the moment, you were a no-show for the interview, or

without further advancement during the petition validity date-range,

the IV Unit declared the petition invalid and sent it back to NVC.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

But that's the thing. the notice she got clearly states that the embassy will contact you. I mean, i'm absolutly sure i put the adress right on the petition.

I waited for them to contact me, send the packet and all that, cause in this case whenever we tried to get information or something, the answer is always, just wait, everything is still within the normal time range and all that #######. But after waiting 3 months i contacted them and they said (Paris embassy) that the case was sent back to NVC.

I mean, since i never got a packet i don't know how it works, but when they send that to you, don't you have to sign something for it to be delivered to you, or they just drop it normally on your mail box?

And don't you have to confirm the interview date or something?

I mean, there needs to be some proof on their side, if that's the case, that they send it to me, and i just didn't go right? Which was not the case at all.

To me, this is ridiculous, cause i'm pretty sure it will come down as a mistake on their part, and me and my fiance are gonna pay for it. it's just ridiculous

I understand your frustration. Just try to stay calm and have your fiance call and if possible, reschedule or appeal... Have her double check the correct address with the people on the phone. If no one hears anything after 30 days, just call them.

Boa sorte! :) Tudo vai dar certo

My Packet came in the regular mail.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
