A verbal approval is not the same as a real approval. Sometimes IOs give verbal approvals when they really need to do more background checks.

For AOS the interview is really a "first interview," which leaves the door open for more interviews or home checks or whatever.

Wait for the denial letter. If you have to file ROC again, then ask for a fee waiver based on USCIS error. Same for Citizenship. Good luck.

I'm clueless to IR6 and and CR6 but I have two different category on my cards and I didn't even realize about that until she told me that the category was also wrong.i was like another thing.so I'm gonna have to read up about it.

IR6 = Immediate Relative 6 = Spouse of a US citizen whose green card was obtained through adjustment of status, and on the date of approval had been married for at least two years.

CR6 = Conditional Relative 6 = Spouse of a US citizen whose green card was obtained through adjustment of status, and on the date of approval had been married for less than two years.

The biggest difference is that an IR6 would not need to file for RoC (because they would obtain a ten year green card immediately), whereas a CR6 would (since their green card would only be valid for two years initially).

F is the code for a fiance visa. You based your I-485 off of an approved I-129F petition and subsequent marriage to the US petitioner within 90 days of your entry, box C in part 2 of the I-485, correct?

CR/IR1 involves an approved I-130. Someone with "F" doesn't have an approved I-130.

I don't know if there is a difference between codes for a I-130/I-485 concurrent filing or a spousal visa recipient.

Yes, that's correct. Now that I think about it, I believe my conditional GC was CF1, which would make sense. Thank you.

The I-360 is used for several different classifications, and I'm not sure on all of them. Mine is IW6 (AoS through being a widow/er of a US citizen; IW1 would be an immigrant visa for the same), and I'm not sure what VAWA is, either.

VAWA is self petition if u married a US citizen and They are abusing you.i know couple of people that filed for VAWA but it's hard to get because you have to prove the abuse and all sort of things

You don't need to be married to a US citizen for VAWA, you can also be married to an LPR.

Yeah but if your married to a LPR filing in general takes longer.so is it different if your married to a LPR n file for VAWA?

No, but once your I-360 is approved you cannot file an I-485 to actually adjust your status and obtain a green card until the priority date of the I-360 is current.

I'm just piss that this is really happening n I did nothing wrong,immigration made there mistake and I'm paying for it. I don't even feel like fighting this,too much.........????

I know you don't want to to do this but I would advice you to fight it until they get it right. That was not your fault and that was not your intention to mess it up if it was not that lazy IO that your husband seen. Because if you are not going to fight, you will have to apply for ROC NOW because your green card is supposed to be expired and then apply for citizenship again. Take it to court, they will stand up with you. It's clear that it;s USCIS mistake they should pay for it not you. Good luck.
