Hi there,

I apologize in advance, I'm sure this questions has been asked and answered before, I just couldn't find the answer.

I'm in California, getting ready to mail off the I-130 and AOS package. I saw that I was to mail I-130 to Phoenix and AOS to Chicago. Can I mail them both together to one place?

Also, I would like to make out one check. Am I correct to say that the total is 1490?

:)

Always be grateful, thankful and appreciate what you have.

This is very wrong and I am really surprised that your cases got matched up. Someone did that last year and one case got refused and it was a nightmare for them to sort it out.

To anyone else reading: don't do that.

Send all of your forms in one big envelope. There is one address and that address can be found in the instructions. It is worth your while to look in the instructions because there is important information that you need to know. If you missed the address then you probably missed a lot of other things. Good luck to all.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I sent my i130 in one envalope and my i485 in another envalope.. But both of them in one big one together. I guess you didnt understand what i was trying to say. If you out all of the forms together, is really big amd it doesnt fit the envalopes. And in my cover letter right in the bottom i put that im sending both petitions together in separates envalopes.

And is not WRONG..

Oh and one more thing, if you check the uscis website it says that if you are filling I130 with I485 you have to send them to the chicago lockbox.. I forgot to put that in my original post..

Ahh, all right then

All in one envelope is the important thing. It sounded like you said you sent separate envelopes. That would be wrong.

YES 420 + 1070= 1490 We made out two separate checks. Send BOTH Applications in SAME envelope, but in dividers, to the CHICAGO lockbox. :)
