AOS Civil Surgeon Concern

Hi everyone!

I'm ready to send out my adjustment of status from K1 visa.

I just have a little concern about I 693. I called the civil surgeon around the area, I live in Memphis by the way and all of them said that they can recognize the vaccination but they need to do another physical exam again, but I already did my physical exam August 2013 at St. Lukes, I explained it to them but they wont accept nor transcribe something that they didn't do cause they said, they're not sure about the result done in the previous medical center.

What are your advice for this? Do I need to explain it to them? or should I just take the fact about paying them for another medical exam and all the prices are ranging to 125-330.

You do not need to redo your medical. Personally, I would call other civil surgeons until I found one that will do the immunization transcription only. Maybe another VJ member that lives in your area can provide a civil surgeon that does the transcription only.

So you mean, i will just ask them how much is the immunization transcription only?

What part of the form they need to fill out?

Yes. The civil surgeon will know what to fill out, but it's part 1, 3, and the last page (vaccination record).
