My fiancee is concerned because one of her thumbprints is very faint. She had problems getting it to scan for her Chinese passport.

I would like to know if anyone knows the rule about how many fingerprints must be successfully read to pass a visa interview.

Is it all 10?

I read another forum thread indicating a woman who had 2 fingers that didnt read, eventually she had to go to local police station to get a sign off on her fingerprints.

My fiancee is worried about this and I want to give her some good information.

Interview is tomorrow, finally!

Tell her no hand lotion, clean and dry hands, take a small towel to wipe her hands and some gel based hand sanitizer. If all fails be patient and explain.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
