I have an appointment at 8? How long does the whole procedure take?

it would depend on how many they have for appointments that day, but i would suggest getting there early to be near to the front of the queue. there were 2 ahead of me and it was out in less than 30 minutes.

Biometrics appointments are usually quite fast. The actual fingerprinting takes about 5 to 10 minutes. The rest of the time is being processed through the line and waiting for your turn. The longest I had to wait for any of my 3 biometrics appointments (AOS, EAD and EAD renewal) was 20 minutes. It took longer to get to the office than it did to do the biometrics.

When I went for my naturalization biometrics, I was the only one there. It was pretty funny actually, there was a big waiting room with bunches and bunches of chairs, and just me

For my biometrics, the actual fingerprinting took 5-10 min, but it was a busy day at our local office and we had to wait over one hour ... definitely get there extra early to avoid waiting!

Well, I just wanted to share my experience about biometrics. I went to my appointment 15 mins early, there were 8 people ahead ofme, was handed a form to fill out. I filled out the form quicker than all the other people. So I was the first one to be fingerprinted and photo graphed.

They double checked all my information, made sure i was the person on my passport. Since I didnt have a signature on my passport they verified my signature from my driver's license and the whole process took 5 minutes max.

I was in and out of the office in 15 minutes...
