Missing/Missed a Step?

Quick question, has anybody out there changed your delivery option at USEM during releasing?

I changed the delivery option for my fiancée's visa online but forgot to print out a new appointment confirmation letter showing this. At releasing window 74 the lady was confirming which 2Go to send the visa to and when she said the old location I told her it was actually supposed to be MOA.

She was very polite and tore the confirmation letter off my fiancee's file. She directed us to te 2Go window where we filled out a form indicating the change to MOA. The girl at the window accepted the form and said that's all that needs to be done!

After thinking about this and noticing that out case status on CEAC is still "ready" it makes me wonder if we missed a step. Were we supposed to bring that form back to the lady at releasing? Maybe I'm just paranoid but my God after all this I'd hate to cause delays because of a small mistake.

Thanks guys for your advice/replies!

If you were to bring it back to the woman at the other window, it would have been handed back to you. Everything will be fine.

Time for a Red Horse and relaxing.... as difficult as it may be right now.

Thanks Hank! Can't help but be a little nervous. All the "What ifs" can be brutal. Lol

I appreciate your help too :)

That's pretty much what we did, originally requested home delivery, then changed at the last window, to have it delivered to the 2Go location near her home instead. Interview was on Tuesday, she had the visa in hand on Sunday.

Thanks for the reply! Sounds like we went through the same steps you did? Her status on ceac still says ready and her passport isn't showing up on the tracking website either.

I'm sure I'm just worried over nothing and it will all be okay. :D

Call USEM to verify the pick up location

We had a terrible experience with them. What they have on file was addressed to a home in Baguio City (Mike has never been to the mountain province LOL, also saying that it was changed at SLEC (huh, what!? by who!?) and so they asked me to pick another location, we picked SM Bicutan. I have Mike stop by at that location on the same day I called. Well guess what? That one have been closed for over a year! Called them again and said, well why don't we just pick it up at SM MOA to avoid any more delays? and told them to update their system as they're confusing a lot of people (lol I was not afraid really to talk to them people)

Dude, chillax' and calm your nerves down lol too much sun does that to you yah know? :)

Good idea! I'll call in a day or two if our status doesn't change.

I even promised myself I would freak too! Ugh. Easier said than done though I guess!!

Thanks Tintin!! :)

Okay Visa ISSUED! :) Thank God and I only freaked a little too. Lol

Any idea why I can't track my fiancées passport through US travel docs website? It keeps telling me there is no status for the number given. Is it because they haven't entered it in the tracking computer yet?? Is there another number I can try?

You can try zinging an email:

Email: Send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled. Do not include any additional text. You will receive an automatic response with the status.

Other option is the CEAC site.

Thanks Hank

I emailed the passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com

All say no status for passport number submitted. I suppose I can try the Chat function. Maybe with my fiancee's case number they can track down the PP#

The only thing I have found on the CEAC site is her visa was issued. Is there another link there I'm missing?

The no status thing is sort of odd. I know there were quite a few at one time that got updates saying their passport was ready for delivery or some such thing.

I personally would start checking the 2GO tracking in a day or two.

Don't reply on it, very unreliable and useless

Email 2Go with Passport/UID # or MNL case # on the subject line here

customerservice@2GO.com.ph

or wait for them to send you a text message
