W2's for interview

Hello!

Maybe someone out there knows for sure.......

My fiancé' goes for his interview in Baghdad on Oct 8 ( WOOO HOO!!) . I submitted the Tax transcripts for the last 3 years and the I-134 to the NVC, However I don't have all of the W2's (UGH!!) Is this going to be an issue? I'm really nervous because I did my taxes on line so I'm sure the W2s are gone ;0( I'm hoping the Transcripts are enough. Anybody have any idea?

Yes, the transcripts are enough. Because it's either you have the transcripts OR a copy of your recent income tax papers along with w2's and schedules. So in your case, transcripts are just fine.

They look at it this way, you probably aren't declaring a bunch of income you don't have just so you can pay taxes on it.
