Georgia State Senator Saxby Chambliss was able to get my petition to the expedite team, anyone have any idea how much time it will take for approval now, or how much time I probably have taken off of the process. The Senators office stated they will have the visa expedited all the way through to the embassy, so I'm guess an expedite at each stop.

Actually it states my file will be requested and forwarded to the expedite team for review. The senators office said they are expediting my case. Please someone answer my question rather than assuming you read the letter correctly.

The senator cannot expidite your petition. USCIS is not answerable to your senator. All he can do for you is ask they look at it.

It doesn't mean they will approve it . It means they will look at it.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Im not going to say it again. My case has been expedited. I don't know why people find it necessary to say otherwise. I did not ask you guys to to tell me whether my case was expedited or not I asked how long do the approvals take after the expedite. Also you don't understand our situation that lead to the expedite so please stop replying to my post unless you are going to answer my question.

IO will still review your case... As of now we still dont know if they are going to approved your case or not... Yes they are approved to expedite it but they need to review it... It would probably take 30 to 60 days to approved your case once they expedite your file... Good luck..

I don't know the nature of your expedite request but some guy here got approval for an expedited about a week, if I am not mistakenly remember. I hope you will get an expedite soon, good luck!

Believe me, people will be making comments that will be misleading or semi-negative...

When my husband was out of the AP, there were people making comments that would scare me again...

I received a response from my congressman...I requested an expedite also, and they replied back to me and enclosed a letter from USCIS...this letter says that they have requested my husbands file, and as soon as she has this..it will be handed to the expedite team for review....the congressmans office says since our file is at NBC .....it takes 30 days to get approval or denial....Hope this helps.

Well when you file a request to expedite, papers/cases all go to the review team..they will be one to determine if they will grant your request to expedite your case or not. What you recieved is just a notice paper stating the your request has been forwarded to the review team not YET GRANTED. reading.gif

You are refusing to listen. Others are trying to help you but you are in denial of what the letter says. It does not matter what the senators office said...what matters is what the letter says an that is that your case will be forwarded to the expedite team for review.

GOD BLESS

Your expedite has not yet been granted, but sent to the team that deals with expedites to decide whether to grant it or not.

Expedites are rarely granted.
