There is some risk to being alive. But a mass shooting was not one of these risks until recently. You don't find the thought of little kids going to school just to be shot a problem? Those kids aren't out late at night. They aren't driving, they aren't drunk. They aren't operating machinery. They aren't starting fights or walking through bad neighborhoods. They are going to school to learn, and someone comes in with a gun and kills them all. You think that is a normal risk to being alive that we should accept as "one of those things"?

No and I don't believe in what I call "lazy legislating". There are ways to address situations without curtailing rights.

Moreover, I am a logical person therefore I don't assume children go to school to be shot. Its still a statistical rarity.
